According to a story described in Kashi Khand, Lord Vishnu is present in 18 forms in Kashi, Baikunth Madhav is one among those. It is believed that devotee who worshiped Lord Vishnu in the form of Vaikunth Madhav with full devotion, will get the same punyfal of worshiping in Vaikunth.
The temple remains open for worship throughout the day.
