According to 61st Chapter of Kashi Khand, Harishchandra Vinayak form of Lord Ganesha is a part of Ekadash Vinayak Yatra. It is believed that pilgrims who worship Harishchandra Vinayak are blessed with the power to choose the path of truth. The person who offers Modak in Harishchandra tirtha and does the liberation ritual for his ancestors, He will be gratified for hundred years and gets the desired result.

Best time for puja

The Temple is located inside a private house and devotees can have darshan between 5 am to 12 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Location of the Temple

The temple is situated at flat no. Ck 7/165 at Sankata Ghat. Near Sankata Devi temple, Local transport is available for the convenience of devotees.
