Based on a story mentioned in Kashi Khand, the Pash Pani Vinayak form of Lord Ganesha is included in the Ashta Vinayak Yatra. This form of Lord Ganesha is located in the Northern direction of Kashi. As the name defines, in the idol Lord Vinayak is holding a lock in his hand. It is believed that by worshipping in this temple devotees can get rid of all kinds of difficulties and achieve happiness throughout their lives.
Temple remains open for worship throughout the day.
